    Toyota withdraws from Formula 1

    http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/moto...ne/8341602.stm

Is this old news? I don't remember Toyota saying they might pull out, although it was suspected they might after Honda went.

    Also here,

    It's a shame.

As long as they can fill the grid I prefer to have dedicated racing teams on the grid. Do you buy a Toyota because of their presense in F1 anyway?

Bad luck for Kobayashi though, he looked on for a spot next year.

Do Toyota have anything remotely sporty in their line up? The last car I can remember was Supra turbo about 15 years ago.
Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave Johnson

Do they still make the MRS? I can't remember.
Will work inside IR35. Or for food.

They haven't sold the Celica for years.

Toyota are about as sporty now as Kia.

MR2? Stopped making it in 2006.
