    Conservatory Question...

Just on the off chance...for anyone who has had or built a conservatory, did it include Pilkington low E or K glass as opposed to the standard strengthened type ? The co we want to go with recommend the latter, the consensus however seems to be the former ?

Mine has standard glass. It's like an oven in summer and freezing in winter. Next door's has some smart alec glass (not sure what) and it's much better.

Why not just move to a warmer country with less rain and save a packet??

Low E glass is more expensive than standard glass upfront, but you'll save a boatload on cooling the conservatory during summer months and heating during winter. Pay now or pay later.......
