    Interview next wednesday

...might be moved to this friday.

Test coordination with GIS. Much more interesting than banks and I have a strong background in GIS, especially seeing as I'm originally a geographer.

Must give a presentation as part of the interview. I think that's one of my strengths, so I'll be doing my best. Shall start preparing immediately.

I was beginning to give up hope!

Does this mean someone's going to be testing the SatNav systems rather than letting people plunge off cliffs / into rivers?

              That'll be a shame!
My all-time favourite Dilbert cartoon, this is: BTW, a Dumpster is a brand of skip, I think.

Strange you should say that. I bought an upgraded TomTom last year. Like a true cautious IT person I ran the new one in parallel with the old one. The first thing I noticed was the voice giving me the wrong numbers of roads at roundabout exits. Then I drove on a dual carriageway and I looked at the display, it was showing that I should be on the right hand carriageway as on the continent. Next roundabout I checked again and it was trying to direct me counter clockwise. A phone call to TomTom confirmed that it was a bug and I needed to download the fix. All well and good but what about people who don’t have PCs?
