Labour favourites to win Glasgow North East

Labour are the clear favourites to win the Glasgow North East by-election, as voters go to the polls to decide who should replace Michael Martin as their MP.

David Kerr, the Scottish National Party candidate and the closest challenger, has admitted that Labour’s Willie Bain is ahead in the contest but claimed the gap is closing.

Meanwhile, the Tories, Liberal Democrats and the British National Party are locked in a battle for third place, along with John Smeaton, who helped foil the Glasgow Airport terror attack in 2007.

However, Labour is still concerned that its core supporters, who are traditionally more elderly, could stay home if a wintry weather forecast comes to fruition.

They will win massively and then Gordo will be out claiming it gives him a mandate to govern and other such crap.

Parts of Glasgow East are comparable to the third world, some parts have male life expectancy in the early 50s, completely removed from the world and vote Labour because they have been brought up in Labour families.

Anyone who would vote Labour is not mentally competent to have a vote.
How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.

What do you win for coming third in an election, a bronze medal?

Given we've sold all the gold, bronze is looking pretty good

Any old stooge could win that seat for Labour. Put a red rosette on a donkey and they would vote for it. It's like the Tories winning in say Tunbridge Wells. No surprise if you hold a core seat. What will be interesting is if the SNP eat into their vote as that could be a good indication as to how many seats Labour will lose north of the border at a General Election.
Rule Number 1 - Assuming that you have a valid contract in place always try to get your poo onto your timesheet, provided that the timesheet is valid for your current contract and covers the period of time that you are billing for.

                    I preferred version 1!
