I think that deserves a well done. They had to change the display schedule to fit her in. All air shows will finish by 3:30pm so she can pick the kids up from school. Her colleagues will park the aircraft for her and they fitted an extra mirror in the cockpit.

I've been watching them practise this morning.

She didn't fly off in the wrong direction so I guess she's as good as the other chaps. Whato, Spiffing..Over and Out.

Where would that be? I saw them practising over Anglesey when I was mapping some rocks there back in the '80s, but don't know where they're based these days.

They are based at Scampton near Lincoln, get to see them all the time during the winter months.
