Or you could apportion the costs between personal and business use and just claim the business use. No BIK charge would apply then.

What I meant was that if you are claiming the whole lot as a business expense, then don't spend any time there when you aren't working - either you incur a BIK or you need to pay for it yourself. Either way, it's a hassle to remember to do it.
