oop north is all the same for southerners. All bleak, all poor and all backward. Don't try to convince them otherwise; Upper Teesdale, Ribble Valley, the Vale of Lune and the Dales are imho already in danger of overpopulation and you don't need southerners making them even more expensive. Whatever you do, don't tell southerners about the quality of life oop north.

Yup, and it's a Dutch train as well so you know that it will actually be 40 minutes, you have a decent chance of getting a seat and even the 1st class ticket will be modestly priced
