Got a Gig at long last...

1 week shy of 7 months on the bench and have now signed a 6 monther.

It's nearly £100 a day less than my last rate and it means working away from home but beggars can't be choosers and bills have to be paid and little
    mouths fed.

Best of luck to all the other benchers still out there, persistence pays off in the end..

              Thanks.

One of the agents who rang up to make me an offer today said he doesn't know why everybody says this period is a quiet time as he reckons between mid Nov to mid Jan is one of his busiest times as end of year budgets are being used up and also managers are clearer about what is on the agenda for the coming year and want to get people in early to get started.
