    Volume footswitches/pedals for a Guitar

So I'm looking for a foot switch to control the volume on my guitar.

Do I need a pedal or are there switches?

Difficult to fathom these things out on the internet.

    I just want a switch really loud/quiet.
    I'm alright Jack

There's a combined volume and wah-wah pedal, but only Jeff Beck knows how to use it properly.

Depends what you want it for really. Normally a volume pedal is a rocker style pedal like a wah, that lets you fade from silence up to full volume. It goes between the guitar and amp so it's just varying the signal strength, same effect as rolling back the volume on the guitar itself. If you're looking for something that you can stomp on occasionally to give a bit of a volume boost then you can get volume boost switches or overdrive pedals that will do that.

I use one of these in conjunction with this and it rocks hard.

I plug my guitar into the Mac and then a small perl script sorts out the rest.

Can I have whatever he is on?
The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.

But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”

Practically perfect in every way....there's a time and (more importantly) a place for malarkey.
