    Stock Market crash before Christmas?

Place your bets ladies and gentleman please.

Added my personal definition as requested by HAB and others:
    • A drop that is big enough to cause panic.
    • A sharp move down (even if it doesnt touch the March lows) in a short amount of time.
    • Panic selling and media hysteria.

Please be explicit about your definition of 'crash'.
How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.

I thought the economic deity currently residing at Number 10 had saved the world, was he lying?

It`s already happened - March was the low.
Depends how you define a crash. I define a crash as in much lower than the March low. A return to a sniffing distance ofthe March low would not be a crash, it`d still be a recovery (the trend would be still up)

Depends whether money invested in shares is a good hedge against economic armageddon and currency collapse I suppose. Presumably some shares would do badly in that scenario? E.g. Banks?

And this hedge would be Zeity's space dreadnought?

                    13,500 would have been closer.
