    If a government project goes pear shaped, don't then insist that everyone you hire has been on the same project before; repeating the same actions time and time again and expecting a different result is stupidity.
    And what exactly is wrong with an "ad hominem" argument? Dodgy Agent, 16-5-2014

        I doubt the laundering of £100 billion was a mistake.

        Nice to see the Conservatives trying though. Or is it? Who is "Alan Mabbutt on behalf of the Conservative Party, both at 30 Millbank, London, SW1P 4DP"?

          WHS++

          I have software going in to Gov IT projects in several countries. UK Gov wouldn't even listen to MyCo, even though we have as references several award winning Danish Gov sites, which are generally accepted to be the absolute best in the world, by quite a long way.

          So one of the usual suspects is taking a cut, and for no added value.

          So what the poster says, once you have discounted all other reasons, is the one that remains...
          Insanity: repeating the same actions, but expecting different results.

            Maybe not immediately, but the same people aren't involved for long and the Poincaré Recurrence Time is only a few years.
