We've all heard the French are in charge of the City now.
Is this good news for (financial) contractors?
I'm thinking on the one hand the last big firm fleeing the City will be asked to turn out the lights at Canary Wharf, as the French get one over us Rosbeefs with some diabolical new regulations.
On the other hand any firms left in the square mile will need a shed-load of new compliance work.
