CUK Xmas Stopatham Do: 4th Dec '09

While the regular reprobates are having the CUK Xmas Do in London tonight, I though the rest of us might want our own "Stop At Home" gathering tonight instead. Then we can be with them in spirit, if not in beer and spirits.

My plan tonight is to listen to the Missus working hard at home (she has been turning work away!) while I make the dinner (beef casserole & Yorkshire Puds). How I shall use up the evening, I am not yet sure.

    How about you?

      Stop at Ham?

The one in south-west London or the one in the Highlands of Scotland?

Friday night has been and gone for me.

Saturday is proving to be fine and sunny which is nice.

I'm watching the gold price chart on behalf of DimPrawn, whose finger is no doubt hovering over the sell button.

          Silly me.

With hindsight, this thread would have made sense if I had created it before the Le Weekendio thread was formed.

            I prefer this one.

Currently eating mushroom chow mein and wondering how long I have got before the baby wakes up. Also think I may have broken my little toe cracking it on the corner of the wall earlier.

The fun is literally never ending here.

              I'm with Richard on this.
The girlies have decided to stop socialising and watch celebrity.

So I have an hour to swig fast and game - yee ha

If there were more people here, I was going to suggest a CUK holiday instead of a night out. But it needs to be done en masse...

MrsF is a moderator on a forum, and someone has been moaning about how heavy-handed the moderators are (which they aren't) and biased (again, which they aren't), so they have stropped off and set up their own forum.

I thought it would be good for a visit.....
