For those on flat rate VAT scheme

The standard rate of VAT is reverting to 17.5% from 1 January 2010 as planned, but it has been confirmed not all flat rate VAT percentages will revert to what they were before the rate dropped to 15%.

HMRC are yet to announce the post 1 Jan 2010 flat rate percentages, so we're currently unaware which categories will change. I'll post more info when it's available.

Are you aware that the third comment on that post is spam? Akismet should really have caught that one, to be honest, if you have it enabled

(Oh, and I had read it - it's in my twitter feed )

My flat rate was 12.5%, now its 11%, it looks like its going to be 12.5% again to me? I wonder what it'll be when VAT goes up to 20% as it surely will after the 2010 election?
