Longest Break Between Contracts?

5 months is my longest break.
I think 2 years on holiday might be a tad long. 5 months however (over the summer) is a decent amount of time to have off as a holiday. Still leaves enough time to earn £50K, which is enough to cover my £12K mortgage remaining.

You do not sign on in Germany , but if you are unlucky you have to attend an interview within a week of them writing to you.
