    iPhone apps

    Ok, double-ended questions here, firstly who owns an iPhone and are they any good?

    Secondly anyone developed any interesting iPhone applications and made any decent money doing so?

          I jailbroke mine and steal the apps so the developer guy gets nowt off me!

            Now that in-app purchase is possible I'll be offering the basic version of my apps for free with the paid upgrade to the full-fat version done from within the app. That way the unique device ID of the phone can be tied to the unique purchase ID from the App Store. No match means you're stuck with the cut-down freeby

                  I got a fair bit of use out of an English/Italian phrase book app on holiday this year. Cost me a fiver I think and came in very handy.

                    I use the tube and national rail apps daily. Nothing else comes close to that much use, except maybe SimCity at the moment....
