    Dementia strikes again

I’ve just got an e-mail cancelling a ‘meeting’ I was supposed to have had this coming week. “Can’t get away to drink with you this week. My wife won’t let me” He’s brought her to London and she won’t stand for him being out on the juice.

The thing is, I’d forgotten all about it and there is no record of it in my Outlook or the notepad I’ve been trying to keep. Now that he reminded me, I think I remember agreeing to go out. If my memory can’t remember important thinks, like going out for a drink, what hope is there for me.
How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.

      Oh no.

Don't tell me you've fogotten about that Tenner you were going to send me, HAB ?
Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

          Oi !

I did all the rendering that you very much.

HAB was a most well behaved and compliant client.

                I was.

I was told he was a right screamer.

I was pleasantly surprised when he took to the Violet Wand like a duck to water.

I'm as far east as ever want to be. I want to be going in the other direction.
