Monday’s are normally quiet so I can get on with ‘stuff’. After doing all my domestic doings such as cleaning and laundry in the morning, I got down to doing some technical things in the afternoon.
On my ‘to do’ list is to sort out the VBA I use to extract prices from my database and populate excel spreadsheet. I remembered XLW the other day and thought I’d give it a go. After a bit of mucking around, it turns out to be a doddle. I’ve already got Stored Procedures to extract what I want. A bit of LINQ to SQL classes to call ‘em and leg it down the result set populating a CellMatrix and return it and I’m sorted.
I can put my financial hat back on tomorrow; I’m not any good at this technical malarkey anymore.
I love days like this. Something is bound to go wrong now.
