    Favourite Horror Movies?

Inspired by the recent 'favourite Sci Fi films' thread, what are your favourite horror movies?

    Mine, in no particular order:
    • A Nightmare on Elm Street - the first one
    • Scream - the first one but the other two were OK
    • The Ring
    • The Grudge
    • The Fog - the original
    • The Faculty

Can the original Alien count on this list too?
How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.

      28 Days Later.

"gore fest" movies don't really do it for me to be honest.

I watched My Bloody Valentine the other day. Unmitigated tulipe.

        I hated the Ring.

Nightmare on Elm Street was a laugh.
        The Others was pretty good.

I'm not really in to the gore-fest torture stuff (e.g. Saw?)

I watched "Snow" the other day "Ein Zwei Die!" it was quite a laugh and not at all bad! But not a real frightener.

              Anyone seen Paranormal Activity?

WHS. Gorefest movies just leave me trying to work out how the special effects worked and second guessing who is going to die next.
