        Because it's a working day - something that 75% (100% of public sector) of the UK ignore.

        If it was a holiday then people would be saying "why do offices open on Christmas Eve eve?"

        Monday is a day off too; WHY?

        Get back to work you fraking lazy bastards.
        How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.
