    Aaaaaaargh! When did that happen?

Being a clean shaven sort of Giant Alien Lizard, I was horrified to discover yesterday that my beard appears to have turned white.

    Aaaaaaaaaaaargh!

I shaved immediately before I got mistaken for Father Xmas.

Were there ginger bits in it, that's when you should worry.

You're getting old just like the rest of us. HTH

      Welcome to my world.
How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.

I seem to be heading in a Damon Hill direction with increasing grey bits in my hair and goatee beard.

White lends an air of distinction and mystery.

Well, that's what I tell myself anyway.

Anyway, I thought we were all "Greybeards" on this site.

Gandalfs of IT, if you like.

Apart from the lasses, anyway, obviously.

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

The sooner I finish going grey, the sooner I can start going for Programme Manager gigs.
