The Labour party and Gordon Brown

The MPs have had some time away from Parliament now with plenty of opportunities to conduct clandestine strategy discussions knowing that they face a General Election by June at the latest.

What are the panel's predictions for what is going to happen now.

    Poll to follow:
    15
No. Gordon has saved the world and has the party's full support.

No. There will be a weak attempt to replace him that will fail.

Yes. The MPs realise that they have no hope of re-election with Gordon in charge.

Six months ago I would have said that there is no way that he would be fighting the next election as PM. Now, I am not so sure.

It looks like the bad news has stopped getting worse and the inflation chickens have not started coming home to roost yet. They will, but that might not happen before the election and do you know what, the government might just get away with it.

It will be bad news for you lot but the Conservatives will be glad not to win this one.

The pant-pissing snot goblin will not be PM this time next year. Also he will spend some time receiving medical care for 'exhaustion'.

Not optimistic about Labour not still in power.
How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.

Maybe it'll be like 1910 and there'll be two elections.

I would not vote for them even if they proposed to make firearms legal

I'm not sure that they will get away with losing, people are pretty fed up with the Labour lot.

I agree this would be a nasty time to form a new government.

Oh dear - I'm not voting for them either, even though I profoundly disagree with your desire to turn us into the USA.

                  Power cuts in the winter...

It wasn't too bad back then as you could always lob some coal on the fire. How many can do that now?

The Labour party have always been unable to sack an infective party leader. The Conservatives on the other hand are the direct opposite and sack them without a moments hesitation.
Gordon will stay as party leader until and if they loose the next election.
