    Wootton Basset?

Islamic group's plan to march through Wootton Bassett

Islam4UK – which calls itself a "platform" for extremist movement al-Muhajiroun – plans to parade through the Wiltshire town in the coming weeks.
The group's website says the event is being held "not in memory of the occupying and merciless British military" but of the Muslims its says have been "murdered in the name of democracy and freedom".
    Patience. Trying.

"If this man has any decency about him he will not hold a march through Wootton Bassett."

<<He also called on the media not to give the group any attention. >>

So The Telegraph opted to give them attention.

It's their job to inform and they are doing it well (their MP expenses abuse is certainly the big story of 2009).

How about if everyone lining the High Street turned out to be a Harry Brown?

I know. Where do they think they are? A country where people have the right to peaceful protest?

At which point the very large numbers of Police that will be in attendance will drag the attackers off to the nick and charge them with all sorts.

Throwing rotten eggs and fruit would have a similar result I expect.

The best legal response would be for the streets to be completely empty of people especially the Press, of course that won't happen.

Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave Johnson
