Send three & fourpence, we're going to a dance

    TV News, FFS

Parts of the UK are as cold as Antarctica. (It is mid summer there)
    becomes:
Parts of the UK are as cold as the South Pole…
    and then
The UK is as cold as the South Pole…
Until it gets to GMTV …
The UK is as cold as the North Pole!

Apparently (OK it was in the Daily Wail), GMTV has been dumbed down. How was that possible?

        Imminently expected research papers:

Daytime TV Triggers Early Onset Alzheimer's

Daytime TV Causes Cancer in Rats

Daytime TV Viewing Linked to Blindness
        HTH
My all-time favourite Dilbert cartoon, this is: BTW, a Dumpster is a brand of skip, I think.

Hmmm, I can see how significant alonetime and a broadband connection might do this.

Just off to boil the kettle, back in 5.

            So anybody,

What was the decent sitcom made by ITV in 1974?

            Enquiring minds wish to know.

            I haven't a clue, as I didn't watch much telly that year.

I remember the odd day off sick when AnnbloodyDiamond was on GMTV.

As soon as the clock hit 9, the subject was firmly turned to wimmins' plumbing. No other subject would do. Nowt for the blokes at all.
