I roasted a massive leg of pork for Christmas, a leg of lamb for New Year and I liked the results so much, I just cant seem to stop.
With the missus working all weekend, I had to fend for myself. I was thinking the usual, delivery curry saturday, chinese sunday, then I decided, NO. So I got a 2.5 kg joint of topside from Tesco and roasted the bejeezus out of it on Saturday. It's lasting well
Yesterday and today, sitting in the office with two slices of toast in a sandwich bag, and in between the toast are big thick slices of very well-done beef smothered with english mustard
with a spare 'end' of the joint at the bottom of the bag, for elevenses.
