Start a new job and find that you've been handed the tulipey end of a stick.

David Wilcock criticised a "lack of capability" among key staff as well as a poor staffing structure."

I've never seen a policeman outside of the city centre. The police station close to me is permanently shut...

Really, I see coppers and toy coppers (whatever they are called) in Sherwood all the time (but I am a burglar, I am glad they are there or I might get me head stoved in by an angry home owner with a cricket bat)

If only Gordon Brown had done the same.

The last big case they successfully prosecuted was getting Much the millers son sent down for two years for selling white powder and going equipped to be an outlaw.

An interim manager walked? What a ratbag. Interims aren't supposed to walk, FFS, they're paid not to. Interim management in senior roles pays stupid money - he may have been on more than £1,500 per day.

They must have taken on a useless numpty. (Edit: I can't find him on LinkedIn so I reckon he is a numpty. He was probably a permie manager somewhere else and took that as a fixed term contract. What a loser.)

That's the same everywhere. I haven't seen a copper outside a Police car for about two years.

I saw two overweight ones buying cakes in the supermarket yesterday.
