this is their Sinclair C5 moment ...

Thin how thin and shiny the C5 would have been if Apple had made it. And it would start at under $1000 (or £4000 in GBP).

It would have meant a whole new network of compatible iRoads though which would be charged at $0.50(£3.49) per mile driven

Shhhh. The govermin ( HMRC) are looking for a way to implement UK wide road pricing and Apple are just the company to sell it to the public.
Feist - 1234. One camera, one take, no editing. Superb. How they did it

I think quite a few folk were convinced the iPhone was their C5 moment.

Apple is 'merkin so it must be kool. It does look daft though, how the hell does one surf for porn discretely on that?
The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.

But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”

I think a lot of people will get one for sofa browsing. Laptops are pretty crap for that really, as demonstrated by me perching a 15 inch dell on me lap right now.

If they could have got the price down to 250 quid it would be a winner for that, 320 ish, hmmm, maybe a bit rich for most people.

320 ish? CBA to look but if it's $499 dollars it will almost certainly be £499
