Has anyone contracted via Arbeitnehmeruberlassungsgesetz (AUG) in Germany? Is there any better solution?

        FTFY

Actually, I think this means the german temporary employemnt law, which I think has something to do with the agency needing a license for labour leasing.

While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'

          German: Arbeitnehmeruberlassungsgesetz

          English: opt-out (?)

No wonder the German in multi-lingual signs is twice the length of English

I stand to be corrected but my understanding is that AUG means you will be employed for the duration of your contract by the middle man entity. Not 'real' contracting.

Being employed means you probably won't need an accountant and will probably get paid promptly and have sick pay, some level of insurance, holidays.

Net income will be lower than as a real contractor. More tax, unable to claim expenses.

Check this useful calculator to estimate your tax impact.

Yes!. If the client demands it, then there is no better solution.

OTOH if the client doesn't insist then you can do better.
