    The Britsh Library

Using St Pancras to get home, the friend I was meeting yesterday afternoon suggested we get a coffee there.

As I was getting a bit weary of mooching I decided to go early and have lunch there, and I was so pleased I did.

The food was excellent and reasonably priced (unlike the station), the atmosphere was busy and calm both at the same time, there were wonderful galleries and exhibitions and you could find a quiet spot to sit and read a newspaper without worrying about not buying anything.

What a find. I will definitely use it again...

It's been years, but I always found the Tate and the NFT the same.

I used to work just round the corner from there. They do have one off displays that can be quite interesting. There was one dedicated to inventions which I loved. Never ate there as there is a Pret across the road but might try it at some point.

V&A have a beautiful dining area - although the food's mediocre. Food at the National Gallery is excellent!

IIRR I think they might be both run by Oliver Peyton.

You are indeed correct for the BL...
