you bust your balls trying to help someone out, dig them out of the tulipe then they publicly put the knife in, in a big meeting with lots of important people?
I have absolutely no idea why he did it. I'd like to say this is a learning experience, but what have I learned. People can be utter utter tulips. But I knew this.
Everyone at work has fallen out with this guy, no one likes him. He is in their eyes and utter turd. I'm starting to see why.
The only thing on the up is that when he turned on me in the meeting I politely stood up for myself and defended myself with cold hard facts. The sheer speed with which his volleys came indicates to me this was a rehearsed ambush which makes my timely return volleys without hesitation the more impressive.
In short. Someone just tried to bully me in the workplace and I grew a pair and stood up for myself.
Feels good.
Shame it was the programme manager though. Move up and make room
