    BTW Don't be tempted to join the forum. They take copyright of any images that you post, so that if they sell them, they keep all of the proceeds, and don't even tell you where they will be published. If you ask me, it's scam central.

    When we're in the car, my kids judge the houses we go past as "chav or chum", chav being the gaudy mixture of santas, snowmen and incongruency, and chum being decor that is not over the top and has some taste.

        Was watching National Lampoons Christmassy film the other day and one of the visual jokes was the completely OTT Christmas decorations, house covered in lights.

        But I could look out of my bedroom window and see at least five that were worse!
