Meals you haven't eaten in ages

Bugger all in the fridge except eggs and potatoes. Couldn't be bothered shopping so just made egg and chips.

Haven't had it since I was a kid. Lovely.

Somehow, and I don't know how, that's reminded me of vienetta ice cream. Not the tulipe you get now mind - but when it first came out.

It must have been a memorable meal combo as a child.

Liver has got to be cooked with bacon - it's the law! In a thick gravy. Mmmmmmm

            * Nevermind Toad in the hole (although good choice) get some "Aunt Bessies" large Yorkshire puds, fill with mashed potato, peas and a couple of your favorite sausages** smothered in a rich gravy. Now that's what I call a "winter warmer".

** Try "Debbie & Andrews" sausages, from most UK supermarkets; very nice.
            The vegetarian option.
