At least he's not banging on about a house price crash any more!

I'd rather listen to the 'drivel' as you call it of someone who's achieved a plan B, than some BOS perma-temps*

*i.e.not even true contractors, but those that dip in and out of permidom.
Insanity: repeating the same actions, but expecting different results.
threadeds website, and here's my blog.

            Well said.

You forgot to mention I'm not even in the UK either, HTH.

(Though I object to perma temp comment, I contracted for nigh on 10 years in the UK and overseas till the rates got so low it wasn't worth it any more).

Anyway, sorry to distract you from your pie, I'll let you get back to it.

I think it's probably fair to say that I've given up ...

It seems much easier to earn ridiculous amount of money those houses cost rather than wait for prices to be lowered by 0.001%, I blame ze stubborn British

Just be careful when you upgrade that bedsit! Remember most people don't live, sleep, wash, pee, cook and watch porn in the same room.

Perhaps start with a small flat with a seperate shower/bathroom. That way at least you can stop peeing in the kitchen sink.

There are 4 bedrooms in current house that I rent, plus living room, big garden (grrr - requires maintenance). The rooms are rather small to be fair, so I plan to trade up to 3 bedroom one with bigger rooms. Hardly a bed sit is it?
