What is the different in ideology between the big 3 parties

It seems to me it is a matter of policy (how to achieve the idea in practice) rather than the ideas (what the party stands for)

Patience is something you admire in the driver behind you and scorn in the one ahead.

Conservatives; balance the books at all costs
Labour; avoid balancing the books at all costs
Liberal Democrat; blame the other two
And what exactly is wrong with an "ad hominem" argument? Dodgy Agent, 16-5-2014

Well what are these different ideas then, I am genuinely interested to know!

That is hardly ideology I would say, that is accounting!

Cons and Liebor have the same ideology - say whatever people want to hear in order to get in power.

They have no principles anymore, that's why parties look more or less the same even though I think Cons would not have made THAT much of a mess.

Labour: Government knows best - legislate with sticks
Cons: Individuals know best - legislate with carrots
              Lib Dems: Bit of both.

Lib Dems were created out a lack of centrist party in the UK and are increasingly irrelevant since the big two have become more populist/centrist.

If you don't know the difference by now, I'm sorry, but you are too stupid to be allowed to vote and affect other peoples lives.

There should be a test at the polling station and all cretins turned away.

1: Obtain power by saying (or not) whatever it takes to get a majority
2: Once in power continue the rape of the UK to the benefit of yourself & your cronies
3: Allow monopolies to do the same in return for contribution to #2

                  loop

                  do forever
How fortunate for governments that the people they administer don't think
