Why immigration spells the end of the green belt

The connections between immigration, house/land costs and now the gnawing away of the green belts are obvious to most on here - but is spelt out here:

    Immigration/Invasion

We are being invaded and paying for it to boot!

It's not racist its not anti-immigrant its just a fact unless you're an hysterical bed wetting liberal of course.

How long before a certain religion turns into a political force?

I for one look forward to the day when the liberals that are encouraging this invasion come to live under religious law and reap the whirlwind. It could even be good for non-liberals, although I think it will end badly for liberals and other currently fetted sections of our society.

Absolutely. Many of our problems, lack of housing, insufficient energy or water supplies, crowded roads, loss of environment are all down to population and that means immigration. Our country is being turned into a hell hole, a sort of vast sprawling dormitory town inhabited by disparate groups with nothing in common and no sense of belonging to a wider national community.

The pro immigrant lobby peddle many lies and half truths, much of the housing need is due to people living alone, congestion is because people have more cars households yada yada but all of these things in the medium to long term are directly proportional to population.

For what? Highly skilled immigration or use of temporary workers is a different matter entirely, but immigration of the unskilled, the great majority, makes no economic sense whatever. If anyone thinks that those on lower than average wages with worse than average health, often higher than average tendency to criminality and who send much of the money they earn abroad are somehow going to raise our standard of living and pay for our pensions is living in cuckoo land.

It also seems that many of the less skilled native Brits are losing out on jobs they would traditionally have had access to... everyone in my local supermarket is Polish.. two years ago they were mostly Scottish...

Mind you, prostitutes and escort girls are both cheaper, better looking and more, er, adventurous than 10 years ago. Or so I've heard.

Are you allowed to say United Kingdom any more?

It isnt united, and we dont have a king.... shouldnt it just be renamed 'Arrivals'?

United Kingdom is fine - but preferably shortened to "UK". However, never ever, "Britain/British", "England", "Scotland", "Wales", "Northern Ireland" etc because national identity is so passé.

It's part of a process of 'proper noun' removal and is part of the de-personalisation process required for full globalisation (which is, of course, 'inevitable').

British Telecom > "BT" (examine their website and pretend you're a 10 year old child, and your homework is to find out what the initials BT stand for)
                Anderson Consulting > "Accenture"
                Marks and Spencer > "M&S" http://www.mands.com/
                Abbey National > "Abbey" http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/3135002.stm
                British Airways > "BA"
                British Midland > "bmi"
                Cellnet > "O2" http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/1526875.stm

See if you can spot any more!

Mass net immigration is absolutely the single biggest threat to the welfare of the UK.

Unfortunately, 80% of the population seem incapable of understanding why.
