Me too, I even had an interview on Wednesday but I'm pretty sure I didn't get the gig as every attempt to get feedback has failed.

Is there a good reason why an agent would withhold bad news? I can understand why he may not bother calling me but when I call him and ask he says he hasn't heard anything.

I find that's normal now. Occasionally you get feedback but normally no reply

            Yep, an increase of calls.

But that's it though. It's early springtime - you can see the buds but nothing is in bloom yet (and a cold snap is still a possibility).

It's frustrating that I've eaten all my nuts and the ground is still frozen.

ING and ABN Amro are hiring again, which means the Dutch market gets a boost. Just those two are such huge clientcos that they determine rates across the board. Rates still about 15% down on pre-credit-crunchie-bore days, and if you go through a British agent you'll be shafted. Dutch agents for those guys are, well, agents, but www.fastflex.nl, www.yenlo.nl, www.thefreelancecompany.nl and www.ikwileenopdracht.nl are better than most.

                    Calls?

                    What are they?

Nowt on my market as all they seem to be doing is shutting down projects till April.
