    Dutton Phaeton

I saw a yellow Dutton Phaeton (Phaeces as it's more accurately termed) yesteday.

It had a side pipe exhaust for that one sided totally deaf approach to motoring.

    V reg. 1979.

In the case of my 1977 example, a car I was ecstatic to the back of.

It looks like something I'd come up with (considering the limited resources in my garage and lack of fibreglass moulding knowledge) if I was ever asked to copy a Lotus 7.
Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave Johnson

Actually, I'm pretty sure you could do better...

Hideous cars that were utter tulipe and made in Britain

Makes me think of Reliant Scmitar SS1. Carrying on the tradition of disgusting, ugly, brittle and unreliable British cars.
