Do people actually use the Ignore List facility?

It's amusing when somebody posts and somebody else posts back quoting "This message is not displayed because x is on your ignore list" which proves that they aren't really ignoring them at all, just trying to annoy them by pretending to

I have never added anyone to my ignore list. I think if you do, you are taking things said on this forum too seriously and you need to get out more etc.

I've just looked and Lithium is the only person on my ignore list. I don't know why or even remember who he is but obviously my life is better now I'm not seeing his drivel..

I think it is a pity we can't find out whose ignore list we are on. Yet more fun.

I've had two people on my ignore list in the past. Neither is there now - one I manually ignore the majority, one is banned.
