Whatever happened to the stock market crash?

You know, all the talk about this being just a short lived rally and a bull trap?

Now it seems a given in all the pundits minds this is the real deal, and the only way is up in perpetual perma-boom?

Even moneyweek is screaming buy buy buy on everything.

Was the credit crunch just another swine flu scam to make a few people very rich, orchestrated by the media?

I forgot to post this from yesterday: Sminki.
How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.

            Boomed!

This would never happen under the Tories.

Works for me. What does it mean - that real stockmarket returns are negative?

Oh yes, I think I mentioned in a few threads that it wasn't going to happen. The crash happened and ended in March 2009, dunno why people thought there would be some much larger event later on . People get carried away with negativety and doom.......too many emotions for good judgement.

There's them what would say, if the CUKers are predicting a crash, then pile in, fill yer boots.

But when CUKers start saying all is well with the markets then ...

But that hasn't started yet, the sheep need to follow before a sell signal is produced. At the moment it's just a case of "oh, we may be wrong, but still not sure". When the general concensus turns to 'fill your boots, the market cannot go down, boom boom boom" that will be the time to sell
