        I read about his Hyper-Efficient Refrigerator a few years back and was quite impressed, I think Dr Chalko is taking himself too seriously of late though.

            Huh?

            Just think of the mechanism - the earth would have to be heated at plate boundaries huuuuuuuuuuuuuge amounts and the amount of energy to be imparted to achieve the result would be extremely noticeable.

            ...IMHO.

            (one of the other things that I'm not is a climatologist. Was (briefly) married to a climatologist, but I'm not one).
