    Can I celebrate yet...

I have the verbal offer, I have the contract emailed to me which seems to tick the boxes and apparantly the hard copy is in the post. They have asked for copies of VAT certs, etc.

Can I celebrate yet.....and free up a bench space.

Or do I have to wait until I have signed the hard copy/ started on site/ recieved first payment.

I'd start celebrating about 35 minutes after you get on site, and not a moment before.

          Thank you very much.

Money was getting very tight, so can't go overboard anyway.

It has fell at good time as 2nd daughters christening and first daughters 5th birthday this weekend also.

            multiple celebrations:

            celebrate verbal

            celebrate contract

            celebrate first day

celebrate first value added to client

            etc.

but really, you shouldn't properly celebrate until the first invoice is paid

                    Oh, well done. Local gig?
Practically perfect in every way....there's a time and (more importantly) a place for malarkey.
