Despite the old oil on the windscreen excuse, I expect there came a time when the pilot had to make a choice between killing an innocent beach goer and preserving his own neck. Result: one less beach goer.Comment

Apparently one of the witnesses was a pikey laying tarmac, he tried to warn the jogger by shouting "Boss, BOSS, Da Plane Boss!!!!".
