    The service isn't great and now I find I am subsidising their sailing holidays!!

    And the clothes are awful, maybe I am not 'of a certain age' yet

    I've always found the service to be first class, agree that the fashion is nearer to Dunn & Co!!

      Unfortunately with John Lewis service depends on the particular staff member so some staff are really helpful and have useful knowledge while others are f**king useless.

      I don't buy clothes there though I buy household things, random presents for people and underwear.

        Didn't reckon much to their old, cockney ratman, TV plasma salesman at their large Oxford Street branch, not helpful at all - almost said to me, 'we got what you see- no flip off !". I was a bit shocked to be honest, ordered mine straight from Comet direct.
