AFAIK this is a proposal for effect in 2012
So let me get this straight.
If I dont have a pension I will be forced to contribute to a state pension with a 2% contribution charge and a 0.3% management fee.
So in effect I will either be forced to make my own arrangements or make additional contributions from my pay to a state pension on top of my contributions to a basic state pension.
So(Assuming I have this right), to call a spade a spade its just a veiled increase in taxes?
