    Labour shills out in force.

I've just been reading the item on the Times website: Alistair Darling rules out VAT rise in ‘sensible, workmanlike’ Budget

    The comments are a hoot

    Terry Amos wrote:
I may be daft, but for some reason I feel that our future finance as a country is much safer in Labour hands.

    Tony Free wrote:
Sensible, calm strategy is what we need and what Darling will give us.

Cameron will say whatever he can to get into power.
This is so blatantly a Labour shill operation. The really sad thing is, it works; the UK electorate ARE stupid enough to fall for it.
How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.

I wouldn't be surprised if some of those pro-Labour comments were from Times staffers themselves.

The Times is notoriously left-leaning and pro-Labour these days.

The Tory shills are not available to reply to it, because they are all over at the Guardian.

So your contention is that any pro-Labour comments on a website are shilling from party hacks and as a result of reading them, people will vote Labour? What proposals do you have to sort this problem out?

Propose that they are given exactly what they want: a fresh mandate to govern for the Labour Party.

I propose a validation tick box on all comments pages, with the text
'I confirm I am not a full Shilling'

Labour voters are indeed stupid enough to fall for this whereas Tory voters are not.

This never happened under the tories. Of course, no-one had the interweb back then.
