    Linked In Requests

Just had a request from a consultant I worked with in the US a couple of years ago.

This onshore (offshore individual) was the worse ,biggest blocker, incompetent, politicking, technical waste of space architect I have ever met.

He put my project back 6 months, almost cost me my job and I had to use every schmoozing trick under the sun to get him to even play ball a little(ie. meals, socialising etc).

Eventually they let him go. I really dislike him!!

Now the cheeky git is asking to be linked in!

Do I accept? Ignore, or reject with a comment????

What happens in General, stays in General.
You know what they say about assumptions!

Accept, he probably liked what you did.
Insanity: repeating the same actions, but expecting different results.

Accept and write him a nice little recommendation based on what you have said above.
Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave Johnson

Reject him, unless you think he might present you with some opportunities at some point down the line.
