Had a nice peaceful few months since I installed CCTV at my house pointing to the boundary fence where the neighbour was being silly.
Last bit of trouble was 6 months ago where she threatened to remove my drainpipe for no apparent reason, hence CCTV cameras got installed!
Spent yesterday gardening – raked the moss from the lawn, and was using the leave burner to get rid of the mountains of moss I had acculmulated.
While weeding, got a squeal from the little piggy next door, asking what I was burning. Moss, I replied, from the lawn. I resisted the urge to point out I still had a nice large lawn compared to their postage stamp from patio-ing what was a lovely garden like mine is. Note – not a raging fire, just a small smouldering burner at the opposite end of the garden to her’s. I personally think she was smelling the bark that I had bought to put on the area weeded next to the fence, which was fairly ripe, and pointed this out to her.
She starts to swear back at my, f-ing this, with a few insults as well.
I pointed to the camera – she said she does not care, and would carry on, with that I left her to it and continued weeding.
A few minutes later she gets out a huge 1980’s style ghetto blaster and whacks on Rock FM at full volumem before going inside, and shutting the door and windows!
20 minutes later she turned it off.
Now, sadly the camera pointing to this was not working, but got a replacement on order. However, the front camera picked up how loud the music was, came through really clear on the video tape. Also got a neighbour to witness how loud the music was, he just shook his head in sympathy…… Reported to the police, will only get them to pop round if she continues.
Any ideas, other than what I am doing – eg, not rising to it, taking notes, reporting to police and beefing up my CCTV arsenal?.......
