    Working Abroad

    Had a phone interview for a role in mainland Europe today, and it went pretty well. 6month contract, good rates, so starting to look at how to actually do the job!

    Anybody got any advice about stopping in Europe during the week, flying home at the weekend.

    Hotels? Professional rooms? Hostels? Brothels? Where am I best looking for accomodation?

          Don't stay in the Hotel Rembrandt, its tulip. Pretend not to be British, you might get treated with respect
          Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

            WHS++.

            Always a good trick on the mainland, that. Learn a few phrases in some obscure language like Icelandic, and drop those into the conversation to divert from your command of English when you're trying to communicate.
