    Election 2010: Leaders TV debate

So, who will be watching the first debate tonight?

Think it will be bit of a damp squib myself.

The Americanisation (read irrelevance) of British politics is almost complete!

(P.S. Has this topic already been done?)

Isn't it something like 7 questions in 90 minutes... Hell even David Cameron said it was going to be boring on the radio yesterday so that doesn't bode well at all!!!!!!!!!!!

I would rather watch paint dry to be honest.

Cameron's best strategy will be to try and wind up Brown, goad him into showing his ugly temper.

Shouldn't be too hard, given how emotionally disfunctional the guy is.

Not me. Can't stand any of the frackers.

It is completely pointless. The blandness of the questions will only be exceeded by their vacuous responses.
How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.

Actually, I think that the American political system is in fact rather good.

They did have the advantage though of being able to start from scratch not so very long ago unlike Britain which is the end product of a number of compromises that have been made over the last 1,000 years.
