Rubbish Marketing tactic (or Plan B)

    1. Buy cheapo envelopes that look like birthday cards
    2. Print name and address using unusual ('handwritten') font
    3. Stick a post it on the 'cut out newspaper' with punter's fist name on it and make it sound as if it's from someone they know (yes, I know it's a cliché but punters are too thick to realise that...)
    4. Have a bogus 'newspaper' article printed about 'rebel business owners' defying the economy because they were given some internet and networking information known only to a few, the offer includes magical CD's ("worth £295"!)
    5. Encourage punter's to go to your website where you're pushing some rubbish newsletter (or "Inner Circle") at £40 a month.
    6. Watch the money roll in...

A lovely comment from the 'article'...

Through no fault of their own and usually because of incompetent web designers, most business websites are a disaster zone.....
    So it's all your fault...

Yeah, my Ltd Co received one of those on Friday - I didn't even read it, it went straight in the bin.

    It's certainly "different" though

It took me 30 seconds to suss it, it was pretty good to be honest. The address was hand written and posted locally, that is what caused the delay ( plus been on a lads weekend that I'm now too old for, rough as a dog today even after 10 hours kip ). They must have blitzed Co Directors last week.

I read the 1st one I got about 6 months ago. Got one at the weekend.

Hit the bin in about a second.
